DUTY,AUTHORISATION AND RESPONSIBILITIES

OUR DUTIES, AUTHORITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

According to the Article 27 of the Decree-Law on the Administrative Organization of Higher Education Upper Institutions and Higher Education Institutions numbered 124, published in the Official Gazette dated 1.11.1983 and numbered 18228, the General Secretary performs the following duties through himself and the units affiliated to him apart from his duties as the head of the university administrative organization fulfills:

• To ensure that the units in the university administrative organization work efficiently, regularly and in harmony,

• To act as a rapporteur in the University Senate and the University Administrative Board without voting; To ensure that the decisions taken in these boards are written, protected and stored,

• To convey the decisions of the University Senate and the University Administrative Board to the units affiliated to the university,

• To make suggestions to the rector about the personnel to be appointed in the administrative organization of the university,

• To ensure the execution of press and public relations services,

• To carry out the correspondence of the Rectorate,

• Organizing the protocol, visit and ceremony works of the Rectorate,

• To perform similar duties as assigned by the Rector.
